About Us

Hello! My name is Rob Long, the artist behind R. Long Art and Design. From a young age, art has always held an important place in my life. As a child I was inspired by my Grandfather who drew cartoons and my Mother who often drew portraits. This inspiration carried over to my school years where I took every possible art class I could attend. 

Although art was a major part of my life, as an adult, art was put on the back burner while working and family took the spotlight. After 20+ years as a concrete cutter, one vacation inspired a whole new lifestyle and business opportunity. In 2018, I was able to retire from concrete cutting to focus on my art and starting my business. 

Today you can find me working in my mobile studio and, along with my travel nurse wife, exploring the U.S. in our toy hauler RV. We love finding new places, meeting new people, and having new adventures! We hope you take a look around and find something you love! Thanks for checking out my website!
