Giclée Print on paper

What is a Giclée?

Giclée is an identical reproduction of the original art piece (fine art or photography) that uses a high-quality inkjet printer and pigment-based inks to make individual reproductions. These reproductions have the sharpest detail and highest resolution that capture every shade of the original artwork.

What is the difference between a Giclée Canvas Print and a Giclée Print?

A Giclée Canvas Print is a reproduction of the original canvas printed on museum quality canvas stretched over wooden bars giving you the "gallery wrap" styling. Giclée Canvas Prints have more texture than standard Giclée Prints making them look closer to the original artwork. These can be either directly hung on the wall or placed in a reveal frame to hang.

Our Giclée Print is on museum quality, slightly textured, 0.016 inch thick, matte, acid and lignin free, archival paper. This gives the print a soft natural feel while displaying vibrant colors along with exceptional detail and clarity.  Basically you are getting the highest quality reproduction of the original artwork on the best paper with highly pigmented archival inks that could last 50 -100 years! These reproductions are best displayed in a frame with matting under glass.
